What shipping options do you provide?
We always used signed for shipping.
Smaller items up to £50 will be sent via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ service, bulkier items may be either Royal Mail or MyHermes.
What address do you ship to?
If you pay by PayPal we can only ship to the registered address on the account. Sorry for the inconvenience but doing that means the PayPal guarantees apply in the event the items are lost.
How are items packed?
They are well packed to avoid damage in transit. The exact answer depends on the product, typically Jiffy or flat folded cardboard cartons for flat items otherwise cardboard box and bubble wrap.
How long does shipping / delivery take?
If an item is in stock we aim to ship all orders the next business day. For custom items / back orders we will advise during the order process but typically no more than two days from design finalisation / re-stocking. Delivery generally takes 2-4 days from dispatch, depending on the service selected.
Is faster shipping available?
Yes. For in stock items if you order before 1pm UK time we can dispatch using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is guaranteed pre 1pm next weekday (so if you order Friday pre 1pm delivery is only guaranteed Monday pre 1pm). There is an extra cost for this service that depends on the order size and weight.
Can I get cheaper shipping?
We understand that shipping can seem expensive, but it does cover more than the stamp. We do not currently offer a non signed for service as we believe that getting your items to you quickly and safely outweighs the small amount of money that we could save you.
What if my delivery doesn’t arrive on time?
For next day service the delivery time is guaranteed by the shipping company. If the item does not arrive we will reimburse your shipping cost once we have verified with Royal Mail. Our standard services do not carry a specific guarantee regarding delivery time.
Is insurance included in your shipping?
Yes. Royal Mail signed is guaranteed up to £50, orders of higher value will ship via MyHermes. Economy shipping insurance is limited to £20 by the Royal Mail.
What if my order doesn’t arrive?
Items lost in transit are covered by the carriers own policies. Royal Mail considers an item lost 15 days beyond the due delivery date and will compensate as above. MyHermes considers an item lost after 5 -7 days and will compensate after that. Contact us and we will dispatch another item and take a claim forward with the relevant carrier.
Can I track my order?
MyHermes and Royal Mail Special Delivery do provide tracking information. Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ only provides delivery confirmation.
Can I collect in person?
We do not have collection facilities. If you are based in Bristol we may be able to arrange to meet over a coffee somewhere central.
